3 capsules of Tribulus Formula contains 250 mg of Tribulus (Tribulus
terrestrials) fruit extract (standardized to contain 20% proxtodioscin)
D-Aspartic Acid 1000 mg, Chrysin 1--mg, and Hesperetin 50mg.
Chrysin belongs to a class of chemicals called flavonoids. It occurs
naturally in various plants and substances, such as the passionflower,
silver linden, and some geranium species; and in honey and bee
propolis (glue). Chrysin (5,7-dihydroxyflavone) is believed to be an
effective aromatase inhibitor, inhibiting the conversion of
testosterone to estradiol and decreasing the levels of estrogen in the
body. Several in vitro studies supported the aromatase inhibitory
activity of Chrysin. Most of the studies showed the inhibition effect
of chrysin on aromatase activity. Chrysin is the best aromatase
inhibitor among flavones since the hydroxyl group at the position 7 is
the essential factor for inhibition |
